1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 Our Role

BeSure StaySure South Africa (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates as a coordination and matching service between clients (“Clients”) and independent service providers (“Providers”). Providers are not employees, agents, or representatives of BeSure StaySure South Africa. All Providers operate as independent contractors.

1.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate information about the service they need

  • Provide a realistic budget

  • Communicate clearly with the Provider

  • Confirm when the work is completed

Clients may not request illegal, unsafe, or harmful services.

1.3 Provider Responsibilities

Providers must:

  • Provide accurate personal and professional information

  • Complete work to an agreed standard

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally

  • Only accept jobs they are capable of completing

  • Follow all safety and legal requirements

Providers are responsible for their own tools, transport, and work methods.

1.4 Verification

We verify basic information from Providers (ID, proof of address, proof of profession/experience). Verification does not guarantee the outcome, quality, or performance of any service.

1.5 Payments

All payments are processed through our secure system. Funds are held until both parties confirm the job is completed. We deduct a small service fee before releasing payment to the Provider.

1.6 Cancellations

Clients or Providers must notify us immediately if they need to cancel. Refunds follow our Refund & Dispute Policy.

1.7 Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Loss, damage, or injury caused by Providers

  • Disputes between Clients and Providers

  • Work quality or outcomes

  • Any indirect or consequential damages

Clients and Providers engage with each other at their own discretion and risk.

1.8 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to match Clients with Providers and to operate our services safely. This may include:

  • Name and contact details

  • Service request information

  • Provider verification documents

  • Communication records related to support

We do not sell or share personal information with third‑party marketers.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Match Clients with suitable Providers

  • Verify Providers for safety

  • Process payments

  • Communicate about your request or service

  • Improve our platform and support systems

2.3 Provider Verification

Providers submit documents for safety purposes. These documents are stored securely and never shared publicly.

2.4 Data Protection

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

2.5 Your Rights

You may request:

  • Access to your information

  • Correction of inaccurate information

  • Removal of your information (unless required for legal or financial records)

2.6 Contact

For privacy concerns, you may contact us directly through the website.

3. Payment & Fees Policy

3.1 Upfront Payment

Clients pay upfront once a Provider accepts the job. Payment is held securely and is not released until the job is completed.

3.2 Safe Payment Holding

Funds remain in our holding system until:

  • The Client confirms the work is completed, and

  • The Provider confirms the job is done

This protects both sides from non‑payment or incomplete work.

3.3 Service Fee

We deduct a small 5% service fee from the Provider’s payout. This fee covers:

  • Platform operation

  • Verification

  • Coordination

  • Support

  • Payment handling

Providers never pay upfront fees.

3.4 Provider Payouts

Once both parties confirm completion:

  • We release the payment

  • We deduct our 5% fee

  • The remaining amount is transferred to the Provider

Processing times may vary depending on the bank.

3.5 Client Budget

Clients choose their own budget. We only match them with Providers who are willing to work within that budget.

4. Refund & Dispute Policy

4.1 When Refunds Apply

A Client may request a refund if:

  • The Provider did not arrive

  • The Provider cancelled

  • The Provider did not complete the agreed work

  • The service was not delivered at all

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Change of mind after work has started

  • Work completed but not to personal preference

  • Situations outside the Provider’s control

4.2 Dispute Process

If a Client or Provider is unhappy, they must contact us within 48 hours of the issue.

We will:

  1. Review both sides of the situation

  2. Request photos, messages, or proof if needed

  3. Decide on a fair outcome

4.3 Possible Outcomes

Depending on the situation, outcomes may include:

  • Full refund to the Client

  • Partial refund

  • No refund

  • Payment release to the Provider

  • Re‑assignment of the job

4.4 Provider Protection

Providers are protected from unfair refund requests when:

  • They completed the work as agreed

  • The Client changes their mind

  • The Client requests extra work not included in the original agreement

4.5 Client Protection

Clients are protected from:

  • No‑shows

  • Incomplete work

  • Unsafe or unprofessional behaviour

4.6 Final Decision

BeSure StaySure South Africa will make the final decision on refunds and disputes based on fairness and the evidence provided.
